WHAT CONDITIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR HAIR TRANSPLANTATION?

In the relevant regulation, the ministry has regulated hair transplantation training and certificates in articles 7 and 8. Accordingly, hair transplantation training can be carried out by centers approved by the ministry. The relevant conditions for hair transplantation centers are that there must be a maximum of five application rooms for a certified physician and at least two health personnel in each application. Regarding physical compliance, the ministry has determined new criteria as of May 2024 and has given a certain period to the existing hair transplantation centers to comply with them. In terms of education, it is necessary to be a physician or specialist physician to become a hair transplant practitioner, and to be a hair transplant assistant or technician, it is necessary to be a healthcare professional.

Although there are some details to fulfill the physical conditions for hair transplantation, they are issues that can be overcome. In order to perform transplantation, it is necessary to be a doctor and to obtain a certificate from an authorized place.
