Although there is no academic level of education regarding hair transplantation, hair transplantation specialist and hair transplantation technician training is provided in some countries. However, since there is not enough data and literature in the field, it is not possible to talk about a classical and standard training method in these trainings. The limited number of firms in the world and in Turkey aim to train hair transplantation specialists. They aim to reach the largest number of trainees in the shortest time. For this reason, current practices are generally carried out partially theoretically and a small part practically. Issues such as obtaining patient consent and ethical permissions during the application phase, how much and how the data will be shared limit the sharing of practices, and this prevents the desired quality from being achieved in trainings.
On the other hand, hair transplantation, although it involves less invasive procedures than mandatory medical procedures, is a medically important process, and in hair transplantation, like other medical processes, there must be an important balance between the application phase and theoretical knowledge. In this respect, in the trainings provided, the application process must be given to the trainees as much as the theoretical background of hair transplantation. The experience required for the trainee to increase his knowledge and skills regarding the hair transplantation process are not limited to just doing the application. In addition, simulations, computerized virtual education materials and systems play an important role. Sharing the cases that have been approved by the patients and the necessary ethical committees with the trainees in the transplantation training can play a vital role in increasing the quality of the training to be given in hair transplantation. However, in the limited number of trainings given today, these issues are not given sufficient attention and importance, and hair transplantation trainings are continued by giving only theoretical and technical training and application.
Dr. Terziler Academy works for the highest level of application opportunities in hair transplantation trainings based on obtaining ethical committee permissions, patient consents and patient volunteering forms with the institutions and organizations it works with. In addition, with the importance it gives to academic literature review, it exhibits an approach that addresses not only the practical and applied but also the entire hair transplantation process theoretically. In lesson and course applications, it works for the optimum process and course content in order to achieve the highest level of quality with simulation methods, artificial intelligence and computer-aided processes. In this way, Terziler Academy claims to be a pioneer in scientific methods in hair transplantation trainings.
